Ryosuke smiled a bit at her comment about knowing the right things to say, then he paused for just a moment at the mention of a girlfriend. Part of him wanted to say yes, but it wouldn't be fair to Saki if he made such claims without actually having told her his feelings. So, he shook his head. Luka nodded a bit, tucking her hands into her pocket's. He seemed like he had a girl he liked, though, even if he didn't have a girlfriend. Besides that, Luka was pretty sure she'd seen him running around with a girl, but, she might have even been a sister.
Another smile slipped onto Luka's face, "I'll have to come by Jinx sometime after school," She said, figuring it would been a good place to do some homework, since it was nearly impossible to get it done at work, or, at home, since it got too quiet.

"Sure, feel free to come by, Luka-san." Ryosuke said cheerfully, always looking out for some people who could come in and enjoy the awesomeness that was Jinx Cafe. Though there was one question, which he did voice. "What about you? Do you have someone?" Ryosuke ventured, hoping he wasn't prying into her life at all.

Luka smiled, but shook her head. "Between school and work I haven't really had time to date since my first year in high school." She confessed, still smiling. She didn't really mind the not dating part, not really. It gave her more time to concentrate on her career, and her drawings. "Besides that I haven't been able to find some whose just interest in me, not... Other things." She added, leaning against the counter behind her again.

"Yeah, those types are very shallow...they can't appreciate the beauty in everything for what it is. We're so complex and unique as human beings, for someone to be so short-sighted is truly a shame, considering what I'm seeing about you." Ryosuke replied, rather boldly proclaiming that he was different, he could see that there was more to her than just a good looking body.

Luka couldn't help but beam at the young boys comment. Even without the comment, Luka could tell that he was different, but, in a very good way.
Luka herself was always being judged on either her rather odd choice of clothing and habits, or her family name, being the illegitimate daughter of two - famous in their respective countries - rich people. There was rarely a person who looked past that, and when they did it was usually to complement her on having a pretty face or a nice body, which just disgusted her.
"You know, I think that's the nicest thing any one's ever said to me." Luka said, smiling a little. "Thank you."

"You're very welcome, I'm glad I could do that for you." Ryosuke said, having the confident grin on his face when he knew he was right. He didn't really care if he got any other looks about it, he spoke his mind, plain and simple. And this girl looked like she needed a little light in her life. "I, for instance, can appreciate your smile." he added absently, as if it was natural to say.

Luka grinned, her crooked canine teeth sticking out a little more than usual; It used to be something that bothered her, her crooked teeth, but, lately she'd just stopped caring about it. It made her, her.
This boy, the one in front of her, was probably the most honest and sweet person she'd ever met, and she'd met a lot of people. And from barely knowing him, Luka could tell he was a very honest person, but, it was a good trait. "And I appreciate your honesty." Luka said, her eyes lighting up from her true smile.

Luka almost couldn't help but feel a bit embarrassed, as though she'd been called out on not being herself when she was around her family, but, she pushed that to the back of her mind.
Instead, she glanced at the clock, seeing what time it was. She had planned on working a double shift that day, but, she figured she could just do it tomorrow instead. "I get off at 12," She said, figuring that five hours of work would be fine, seeing as it was nine now, anyway, and she rather liked avoiding the lunch rush.

Luka nodded, smiling. She had a feeling that even if she didn't go looking for Ryosuke, she'd end up finding him. Not that it was a bad thing, unless he found her at a bad time, like, during her time of the month, or after a stressful class, but, he also seemed like the kind of guy who'd actually listen if she wanted to talk.
