It was Luka's first day of work at the Juice Bar. Well, not her actual first day, just, her first day in a while. She'd been in France with her father for a while, and she wasn't happy about the fact; She would have much rather be home working, and studying.
But, she'd been in France, and now, was back. She walked into the Juice Bar, and smiled brightly at her boss, before getting ready for the day ahead of her. Not only did she need money, but, one of the other workers had called in sick, so, Luka would be working a double shift.
Not that she really minded, she'd been gone for that past two weeks, and she needed to make up lost time (And money). Smiling, she tied her apron around her waist, and pulled her hair into two loose pig tails, and put a pen and note book in her apron.
Leaving her jacket in the back room, she headed into the Juice Bar, and helped her boss open up the shop.

(Figured I'd give some air time in here as well) The Juice Bar doors opened as a few people walked in, one of them being a bright and energetic teenager in the infamous red and silver gear with a purple t-shirt on today. He looked like he had been running for a bit, and seeing that it was the Juice Bar, decided to drop in and get something to drink. He spun around once, taking in his surroundings before walking up to the counter in a confident swagger, a spring in his step. Tag || Luka Notes || Hope this suits.  |

The juice bar seemed like it would be busy today, which was good for Luka; It would keep her buy for her first day in a while. She put a smile on as the customer's came into the place, and went to take the order's of the people sitting a bit farther away, working back towards the counter, giving the order's to the chef, making smoothies and coffee's herself.
Taking the order's back to the people who'd ordered, Luka made her way back to the counter again. "Welcome to the Juice Bar, what can I get you?" She asked the boy who'd come in. He was three, maybe four years younger than herself, with a cute face. While she was thinking, she wondered if she could convince her boss to let them do a themed week or something some day.. And with that thought, she wondered about opening her own cafe, like a Cosplay Cafe Ooh, that'd be fun,

"A cold drink, I'll take whatever you recommend." Ryosuke said, leaning his arms on the counter as he considered the person behind there...at first glance she certainly looked rather cute.
But as he waited for her answer, he used his hold on the counter to raise his legs up and touch the tips of his boots on top of a table...then he flipped in mid-air and landed on his feet in front of the counter, hands lightly palming it. He hadn't knocked anything over, since he had had enough room to do that. Even when he was taking a break, he couldn't resist a chance to do what he enjoyed.

Luka smiled her slightly crooked smile, and nodded. Anything, huh? "One strawberry-banana smoothie coming right up." She said, deciding he seemed like a boy who could use something that was sweet, and with some sugar, but, still good for him.
But Luka could turn away, the boy did something she would never had excepted, and he flipped, more or less, and was standing in front of the counter. She couldn't help but laugh a bit at the reaction he got, clapping from some, mutter's and stares, and her boss just stared, shocked. "Impressive, but, I think my boss would prefer if you kept the flipping to a minimum." She said, moving to make the smoothie.

"Sorry, I won't do that again."[/color] Ryosuke said, bowing a little at the reactions..from her laugh to the clapping and staring. But he elegantly turned back to the counter, content with leaning forward on his arms and peeking into the back, watching Luka and her boss work.

Luka just smiled, putting a straw and a little umbrella into the drink, before passing it to her customer. "Here ya go." She said, in her quirky fashion. "I'm Luka by the way, Luka de Famille." She introduced herself. She was sure she'd seen this kid around before, but, probably didn't pay attention. Maybe she'd seen him around the mall?

Ryosuke took the smoothie and took a sip of it through the straw, then his face lit up as he spoke. "That's awesome...thanks for the recommendation."[/color] He said, looking directly at Luka.
"I'm Ryosuke Hataki, but you can call me Ryosuke."[/color] he replied to her introduction, giving her a smile.

Luka nodded, "Ryosuke-kun, huh?" She asked, smiling. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Ryosuke-kun." The Juice Bar seemed to have calmed down from the normal rush, everyone seeming content to just sit and eat and sip at their drinks.
"Say, have I ever seen you around before?" Luka asked suddenly, not really even noticing it was an odd question, "You seem familiar..." Maybe it was just he reminded her of some one, or, she'd seen or known a sibling he might have?

Ryosuke nodded a bit with a smile as she called him the same term that Saki would use...but he pushed that out of his mind as she asked him a question.
"You probably have, I free-run a lot through this town....the mall's an awesome place to do it. You go there shopping don't you?"[/color] He went out on a limb with that assessment, but his instincts told him that could be where she had seen him.

Luka nodded; She did indeed hang out at the mall a lot, between the book store, and the costume shop she frequented, she was honestly surprised she hadn't been offered jobs there, she spent so much time and money there.
"Yea, that must be it." Luka muttered with a smile, remembering having seen a boy doing things similar to what Ryosuke had been doing before. She thought for another second, before having a ping pong moment. "Ah, the cafe! Jinx Cafe, that's where I've seen you before." Luka said, sure that was it. She had probably seen him around the mall, too, but, she was sure Jinx was what she was thinking of.

"Yup, that would be the cafe I work at." Ryosuke replied with a smile. He had a good first impression of her...and perhaps this person could be a friend to him. "Sorry that I haven't seen you around, when I practice parkour I have to fully concentrate...otherwise I will hurt myself." he added, rubbing the back of his head slightly.

Luka grinned triumphantly, "Knew it," She said quietly to herself. Looking quickly bad at the younger boy, she smiled again. "And it's probably much better that way. Don't need you hurting yourself." She said, poking fun a little bit.
"'Suce me for a second," Luka said, nodding towards a new customer who'd just come in. She moved away from the boy she was making conversation with and towards the customer sitting at a table near by. She quickly took the order and delivered it to the cook with ease, before making up the drink that had been ordered with the burger.

Ryosuke watched Luka as she grinned and then filled another order. "I wouldn't mind getting a little hurt if what I pulled off made you smile."[/color] This wasn't a flirting gesture...it was just Ryosuke being himself....honest...and rather naive about the human world...but that doesn't mean it couldn't be taken in other ways. Sighing mentally, he had another sip of his drink, cooling off and calming down from the excitement he had went through before coming here.

Luka smiled her slightly crooked smile, and leaned against the counter behind her. There was something different about this boy, something that she couldn't quite place, and maybe it was her overactive imagination, but, it almost seemed as if he wasn't from Earth.
Nah, it was probably her overactive imagination. "You sure know the right things to say to a girl," Luka stated, as another thought popped into her head. "You got a girlfriend?" She asked, hoping she wasn't prying into the younger boys life.
