One morning. That was all she was asking. Just one morning to sleep in, not have to get up and make breakfast, to not have to find clothes and work. Just one dang day! But, of course, if she didn't get up and wake her best friend soon, she was sure she never would.
Your a good solider, choosing your battles. Sighing, Saki reached over and turned her alarm off. As she lay on her back, Saki bit her lip, wondering if she could get away with calling in sick to work. Of course, then work would call her closest friend, and co-worker, asking him to check up on her, and then he'd get upset, and, Saki hated seeing him upset.
So, Saki got up off her bed, and messily threw the warm blanket back onto the bed, grabbing her hair brush off her stand, and running it through her hair, and making her way to the bathroom to brush her teeth and wash her face.
That done, Saki picked out a few items of clothing from her small closet, and got dressed quickly, pulling her hair into a pony tail as she put on a bit of make up. Grabbing her purse, she put a necklace on before knocking on her room mates door. "Time to get up," She said, grabbing an apple from the kitchen before leaving and heading to work.

Hearing her words woke him up, and he jumped up out of bed with a spring in his step, easily getting into some red and silver themed jeans and his favorite pair of boots from Gosei World, a pair of cowboy boots.
Ryosuke then looked in the mirror, regarding his chest as it had signs of a four-pack showing. and he smirked to himself before throwing on a blue sleeveless t-shirt, more or less breaking the whole unofficial color coded thing.
Then he ran out the door after brushing his hair, brushing his teeth and dousing his face in water after doing so, not getting his clothes wet. Grabbing his smartphone, which he put in a holster on his belt, his wallet, which he put in his back pocket, and his keys, which he put in his front pocket, he ran into the kitchen, rolling over the table and landing on his feet deftly as he took an apple with him, walking out of the apartment and locking it up before making his own way to work.
(First post...hope that's fine)

The cafe wasn't open yet when Saki got there, so the only person there was the boss, but, Saki was pretty used to getting up early for a number of different reasons. "Good morning," She greeted her boss with a smile, and the older woman returned it, happily.
Before going into the cafe, Saki glanced behind her, taking a bite of her apple. She'd left before Ryosuke, but, she knew he'd be along soon, since they didn't live that far from the cafe.
Shaking her head a bit, Saki headed into the small cafe, whipping her red boots off as she went in. She left her purse behind the counter, and tied the black apron around her waist, putting a pen and note book in it, glancing towards the door while she did so, waiting for Ryosuke.

Through the door she would see a familiar figure vault over two trashcans and land on his feet, before jumping up on the stone wall and spinning off of it, landing on his feet again. Taking a bite out of his own apple, Ryosuke had greeted the world with his seemingly boundless energy and flare of parkour, some would say it was showing off, but it was what he did...a part of himself.
He walked on the railing like it was nothing, before jumping off of it, using his hands to catch the other railing and do a 360 flip in mid air, landing directly in front of the door. Opening it, he walked inside, taking off his boots and slipping into the shoes required. Then, he looked up, taking in his surroundings, letting his eyes notice the familiar figure who was about to address him.

Looking out the glass door, Saki was greeted with the same sight she saw almost every morning, Ryosuke and his parkour. But, she couldn't help but smile. It was a familiar sight, and one that she loved.
She stepped out from around the counter, her hand unconsciously reaching up to the wing necklace she wore. She'd bought two of them on their first trip to Earth, before the Gosei Tower had been destroyed. One for her, and one for Ryosuke, not only because they were Skick Tribe member's (And because she thought it was cute), but because they matched.
"Good moring, Ryo-kun" Saki greeted her friend cheerfully after he came into the cafe. She smiled at him, and took in his appearance, which was similar to every other day. Of course, so was her's, her outfit's usually consisting of a skirt, a tank top and a thin sweater.

"Morning, Saki-san." Ryosuke said cheerfully, the subtle glint of something around his own neck being noticed, but being hidden by his shirt...he had secretly treasured the gift of the wing necklace...and wore it at all times...even when sleeping. In his own mind...that was his own way of showing to himself that he had a chance to someday overcome his fear and tell her.
"Another beautiful day, isn't it?" He remarked, tieing up the black apron around his waist and letting it hang down a bit further just to complement his t-shirt and shoulders.

Saki nodded in agreement. Although nothing (in her mind, at least) could compare to the Gosei World, it was a beautiful day none the less. It was bright and sunny, the birds were singing, and it wasn't too cold or too warm. "Sure is," She said, smiling.
On the other side of the cafe, the owner and boss smiled at the young friends, before announcing she had to go away for a couple of hours, and asked the two worker's to watch the cafe for her while she was gone.
"Sure!" Saki pipped up happily. She liked being given task's that involved being responsible, because it meant that people trusted her like she did them.

"Sounds good, see you when you get back, ma'am." Ryosuke said with a note of respect, smiling a bit at Saki's reaction. This world wasn't as beautiful as the Gosei world, he knew that...but there were two things he'd put his body and mind on the line for...the peace and freedom here, and Saki. Some might have thought it weird that he didn't just tell her, or be more open...but somehow, to him...he felt this was the right way of doing it...just being there and keeping his own feelings in the shadows until he could muster the courage to overcome his fear and shyness.
He watched the owner walk out and sat down in a chair, kicking his legs up on the table, keen to clean it if he got any bits of dirt on it...and took out his smartphone.

Saki rolled her eyes at Ryosuke reaction after the boss left; Sitting down, putting his feet up, and pulling out his phone. But, she smiled anyway, and lightly hit the back of his head she walked by to flip the closed sigh to open.
Either way, Saki didn't expect them to get any more customer's than usual, and most of them now all seemed to be teen aged girls, coming to stare at Ryosuke. Of course, at that point, she got fed up with them, and threatened to kick them out if they didn't order something, at which point they did.

Ryosuke laughed a little. "Hey!" he said, tilting his head to look at her as she flipped the sign open, a grin on his face.
He had very little illusions as to whether they'd get more customers or not...his back almost always seemed to be turned when the teenage girls came in to stare, and his attention would at last be obtained by Saki threatening to kick them out, at which case he'd turn around and just wave a little before continuing with his work.
But he smiled now, nodding just a little as his fingers deftly worked the touch screen...the same fingers that had felt the warmth of her hand intertwined with his after they left the shopping mall...and walked back home. Balancing the smartphone on one knee, he casually pulled up an app with one hand, letting the other hand rest over his heart...where the wing necklace was.

Saki giggled a bit, before moving to set up the coffee pot, putting the coffee on. Within minutes, she knew the cafe would smell like coffee, a smell she happened to love (It was that, and vanilla, which she happened to wear everyday).
For the first hour or so, Saki knew the only people that would come in would be office workers and such heading off to work, stopping in to get a cup of coffee before doing so, but, before they left, they always seemed happier, and maybe it was because her and Ryosuke were so cheerful and such in the morning, or maybe it was just the coffee.

"Smells good in here."[/color] Ryosuke said after a few minutes, the smell of coffee being a pleasant one to him as he elegantly pointed his legs up and then got up from the table in one smooth motion, putting his smartphone away and adjusting his apron slightly before going behind the counter, looking at the door to see who the first customer would be.

Saki smiled, nodding, and taking a deep breath. "Too bad it wouldn't always smell like this," She said, setting the napkin holder out, and the donation box. She tapped her foot on the ground, a bit bored, while waiting for someone to show up.
She glanced towards the door just in the time, as a girl, a few years older than herself and Ryosuke came in with a little girl, who Saki could only conclude was her little sister or daughter, but, she was leaning towards the former.
"Welcome to Jinx Cafe," Saki said cheerfully, "How can we help you?"

Ryosuke nodded and set to work making the coffee and breakfast that the two had asked for, going into the kitchen and humming while he worked to get the ingredients ready for Saki.
The two women took a seat and waited for their order to be delivered.

Saki happily and quickly took the order the woman placed, and allowed her to pay, before telling her they'd bring her order to when it was finished.
Which didn't take long at all. Saki put the drinks and food on a tray, and carried it over to the woman and the younger girl, before placing the order's on the table. "Enjoy," She said, smiling before retreating back to the counter, ready for the next customer.
