Before beginning to cook, Saki had tied an apron around herself to keep her clothing from getting dirty while cooking. She hummed quietly to herself while preparing the pancake batter, unaware that she was being watched.
While measuring out the things needed for breakfast, Saki wondered if this was what it was like to be a wife or a mother, waking up before everyone, and cooking during the peace and quiet. The thought made her blush a little, when she remembered who she was sharing an apartment with.
Opening the fridge, Saki pulled out a bowl of blueberries to add into the pancakes. She popped one into her mouth before sprinkling some into the mixture, setting the rest aside to put into the pancakes as they cooked.

Ryosuke watched her for a moment...and thought that she looked simply radiant like this, smiling a little as she popped a blueberry into her mouth. It was the little things that he noticed...and he liked it. For now though, he spoke. "Good morning, Saki-chan."[/color] he said, allowing a smile to cross his face

Saki looked over her shoulder, and smiled at Ryosuke when he spoke. "Good morning," She said, turning back to mixing the pancake mix. "Sleep well?" She asked, moving to dig out a frying pan and some cooking oil, to keep the pancakes from sticking to the pan.

"Slept better than I have in a long time." Ryosuke commented, running over to the cabinet while not tripping over anything and retrieving the cooking oil for her, and after bending down to get the frying pan for her too, his hand briefly touched hers.

Saki smiled, taking the cooking oil and frying pan from Ryosuke. "Thank you." She said, placing the pan onto the stove, turning it on. "I slept well, too." She admitted, keeping her head towards the stove so her friend would see the pink tint on her cheeks.
Silently clearing her throat, she poured a bit of oil into the frying pan, and moved it around before pouring the batter into the pan, enough for two decent sized pancakes for the time being.

"You're welcome." Ryosuke said, standing up and not seeing the pink tint on her cheeks. He had...really enjoyed that feeling of her against him. For now, he leaned on the fridge, watching her.

Saki scraped around the edge of the pancake, trying to keep it neat and tidy, the way she liked things, and to keep it from sticking to the pan. She'd have to make sure she kept an eye on the food to keep it from burning... She also wondered if she should invite Ren, Kazu and Jun over for breakfast, too, but, then realized they might make everything worse.

"Need any help keeping an eye on it?" Ryosuke asked, smiling a little at her. He was glad he had studied her methods of cooking, so he could do it for her, sometimes.

Saki looked over her shoulder, smiling. "Could you?" She asked. "I wanted to make some fruit salad, too." Actually, she hadn't really planned on it, and hadn't even thought of it until now, but, Saki liked watching Ryosuke cook. Not that anyone would ever know that. Ever.

"Of course, Saki-chan." Ryosuke said without complaint, and brought out his red apron, putting it on with an air of playfulness, and then turned to her. "Ta-Da." He said with a laugh, before keeping an eye on the pancakes. He wouldn't let Saki's hard work go to waste.

She smiled when Ryosuke put on his apron with a flourish. Leave it to Ryosuke to do even the most minor and mundane things like he did everything. "Thank you." She said, handing the spatcual to him, before moving to the fridge to get out the berries.

Ryosuke took the spatula with a nod, helping to cook the pancakes. "You're welcome, Saki-chan." he said honestly, with a confident and playful tone. They were almost done...just a couple more minutes. He found himself looking at Saki through his peripheral vision for a moment, appreciating her beauty before turning back to the pancakes.

Saki carefully cut up the strawberries, and put them into the bowl, then pouring some blackberries, raspberries and blueberries into the bowl, she used two wooden spoons to mix up the fruit salad, before topping it off with some whip cream, the kind from a tub, which she liked better. "Pancakes done?" She asked, glancing over her shoulder at Ryosuke, who was looking at her.

Saki smiled, putting the dirty dishes in the sink, and moving to get plates and cups from the cabinet. Putting them out, she also got out two forks, and moved to set the table. She took a nice deep breath, smelling the pancakes, which was a smell she adored.
