Saki smiled at the complement, a pale blush working it's way onto her cheeks. She took another bite of the sandwich, before setting it down and taking a sip of drink.
By the time the two had finished eating, there were no more customer's left, and it was quiet, only the hum off the lights, and the drip from the coffee machine. Sitting back in the chair, Saki stretched a bit, and yawned. She laughed a little bit, glancing towards the door. "Do you think the boss would mind if we closed early?" She asked,

"I don't think she would, we did bring in a lot today after all."[/color] Ryosuke replied, smiling at her smile and chuckling just a little...the moments when she blushed were so memorable to him...where she looked cute.
Ryosuke pushed those thoughts away as he patted his stomach, "I'm glad I could make that for you, Saki-san. It really hit the spot.[/color]" he said with a grin to her.

Saki smiled tiredly, before standing up. "Come on, let's clean up, then we can go home." She said, with a small smile, picking up the dishes they'd used to go wash them. Thankfully the two had been working together at the cafe for long enough that it wouldn't take very long to clean up and lock up.

Ryosuke nodded, "Awesome.[/color]" he said cheerfully, picking up a few dishes as well, then he dried them as she washed them, working in harmony with her before putting away the dishes himself and cleaning up the tables.

The pair quickly finished cleaning up and set about locking up. Saki collected her bag, and they left the cafe, locking up before doing so.
"Ah, mou." Saki pouted, "I'm so tired." She announced. Although it was only three o'clock, she felt as though she was going to fall asleep the second her head hit the pillow. But, then an idea occurred to her. "We should go rent a movie and watch it at home!" She told Ryosuke happily, a little less tired at the idea of watching a movie.

Ryosuke took off his apron and put it away neatly, putting on his cowboy boots again, and walked out with her.
"Sounds good Saki-san. You can ride on my back if you need to."[/color] He offered honestly, walking with her towards the movie store.

Saki smiled at the offer, "I might just fall asleep if I do," She admitted, showing how tired she actually was, but, only for a moment, since they reached the video store. At this point, she perked up a bit, and grabbed Ryosuke's hand, pulling him into the store behind her.
They looked through a number of movies, before they decided on two, one of which they'd probably end up watching the next day, since neither was working.
The walk back to the apartment, Saki kept babbling on about the movie's, and other things, something she tended to do when she was getting tired. She talked and talked, trying to wake herself up without realizing it.

Ryosuke smiled at her admission but held her hand as she pulled him into the store.
After agreeing on the movies, he began walking back with Saki, carrying the movies under his left arm before reaching his hand out and taking her hand in his, "You're going to make it back to the apartment."[/color] he said reassuringly, having a knack for what to say that would calm her, or make her cheer up some.
He decided to let his mind wander a little, thinking back to previous times where she rode on his back, she was easy to carry, and he didn't mind taking her places that she needed to go.

Saki ducked her head a bit, taking Ryosuke's hand. She had a habit of babbling on when she was tired, but, she usually wasn't really aware of what she was saying, and how much she was talking. She just kind of talked and talked.
When they got back to the apartment, Saki unlocked the door, and pushed it open, yawning a little as she did so. "I'm going to go change into something else," She told Ryosuke, before asking him to set the movie up.

"Alright will do."[/color] Ryosuke replied to her request, watching her leave the room before nodding a little as he closed the blinds on the windows to block out any outside distraction...he knew she had had plenty of that today...and he had made sure the couch in the main room of the apartment facing the TV was super-comfortable. It was a small detail, but it when it came to her, to him, it was worth it.
He casually popped open the case and took out the DVD, before inserting it into the DVD player. The menu came up to play the movie, and he left it there, walking into the kitchen with a swagger in his step, getting two glasses of water to place on the beautiful but small oak table that sat to the couch's left. One for him...one for her...as it had been.
Carrying the two glasses back, he set them neatly on the small table, and sat down on the couch, relaxing as he felt its comfortable embrace...or was he thinking about when Saki hugged him in the past? Shaking his head slightly, he leaned back and put one arm on the back of the couch, tilting his head to look at the door that Saki had disappeared through, the remote in his hands.

Saki retreated to her room while Ryosuke set up the movie. She dug around in the dresser for a minute, looking for a set of comfy pajamas, which consisted of a large, over sized tee shirt, and a pair of shorts, plus a pair of pink slipper's that she'd had for as long as they'd been on Earth.
After changing, Saki left her dirty clothing in her hamper, a pink basket, and slipped her slippers on, before tying her hair up with a hair tie. She quickly washed her face, to get rid of remains of her make up, before leaving her room, turning the light off as she entered the hallway.
Saki then went into the living room area of the apartment, finding Ryosuke on the couch, the blinds closed, and the movie ready to go. Smiling at her friend, Saki curled up on the couch beside him happily.

Ryosuke looked up, smiling to see her return. "Feeling better?" he asked as she smiled at him. She looked great...reminded him of the fact that he didn't go change...maybe he should have snuck that one in...but she wasn't saying anything so he figured he was just fine.
When she curled up beside him, he curled his arm around her shoulder lightly, happy as well to just have a movie with his best friend...and he hit the play button, starting the movie.

Saki nodded, "Much," she said, before leaning her head on Ryosuke's shoulder after he put his arm around her shoulder. She knew that if anyone were to see them like that, they think the pair was a couple, but, Saki didn't really care. Often enough, both on Earth and on the Gosei World, people seemed to think that they were a couple quite often.
It wasn't too long into the movie before Saki found herself nodding off. She tried to bring herself back around, and stay awake, but, she was tired, the room was dim, and Ryosuke was warm.

Ryosuke looked down at her form, her head leaned against his shoulder. He also didn't care what people would think about the two of them like this...though he secretly wished they were a couple...but he didn't want to ruin the friendship. Besides...in a sense...they were a couple...a couple of friends. But part of his mind slapped down the lame attempt at humor, and so he just held her like that as the movie started.
As his eyes were directed to the screen, he felt a little bit of impact on his shoulder...and looked over to see Saki fast asleep, her head on his shoulder...and he smiled. But if she slept through the whole movie...he would act to make sure she was comfortable. "Oh Saki...I wish I could tell you what I'm thinking." he murmured under his breath, barely audible over the movie noise, but other than that, he was very content with the closeness between them, and the situation as it was.

While Saki was drifting off to sleep, she was vaguely aware that she was sleeping on her best friend, and that she should try to stay awake, but her body didn't want to do what her brain said.
So, Saki feel asleep, snuggling into Ryosuke's side, her face clam and serene, more so that it usually was, and all the worries that often showed on her face disappeared as she sleep on.
