The next customer that came in was an older male office worker, who simply ordered a cup of coffee. Ryosuke took the order and nodded to him to take a seat, showing him where the newspaper was. Then he rolled over a blank section of the counter, landing on his feet and looking at Saki, "Need a second cup of coffee, Saki-san.[/color]"

Saki rolled her eyes at Ryosuke rolling over the counter, before preparing the coffee. "Here, Ryo-kun," She said, passing him the cup to give the customer.
Sometimes it was nice to just have a day like this where the evil in the world just decided to not do anything, and they got a day without any fighting. Even if it was just a day every once in a while, it was nice to have.
Saki straightened up when a few more customers came in, but, internally sighed. "Welcome to Jinx Cafe, how can I help you?" She asked the group of girls, who started giggling and peaking over at Ryosuke, "Something on the menu, ladies," She tacked on, slightly annoyed at them, although, she couldn't really blame them, Ryosuke was a person to fawn over sometimes, but, they did it everyday.

"Thanks Saki-san."[/color] Ryosuke said, walking over and bringing the man his coffee, pausing to talk to him for a moment before turning to see the girls peeking at him after Saki's comment, and just waved slightly before going back behind the counter, focused on filling their orders which they reluctantly made after Saki spoke.

Saki took the order's the girls, who had reluctantly ordered after she'd spoken the second time. At least it hadn't taken as long to get them to order this time, heck, maybe they were finally getting the hint, or, they knew she would make them leave (Just because she was small didn't mean she wasn't strong).
Turning around to gather the girl's order's, she nudged Ryosuke's arm lightly, to get his attention. "They are going to drive me nuts!" She whispered, pouring a few cups of coffee's, and adding sugar.

"They have been doing that for a while, haven't they."[/color] Ryosuke agreed, whispering back as he helped her with adding sugar. He didn't really consider them too annoying, but this was a place of business...and they should do their business and leave, at least in his mind.
"Ok Saki-san, here you go. You want to take it or shall I?[/color] He asked gently, giving her the option of who should serve the orders.

Saki made a face, "Everyday," She muttered quietly, before taking the cups. "I will, at least they ignore me." She said, turning and putting on a smile before giving the girl's their coffee. "Here you go. Enjoy." Although a bit annoyed with the girls, she at least manged to sound polite.
A few hours later everyone had pretty much cleared out except for the odd person coming and going, ordering coffee or tea. Thankfully even the group of girls who only came to ogle Ryosuke had left not long before, one having gotten a phone call, and then they left. Why, Saki didn't know, but, she didn't really care at the moment.

Ryosuke stretched a bit, having enjoyed the day's work more or less. "We haven't eaten yet...I'm sure the boss wouldn't mind if we fixed something[/color]" Ryosuke suggested, willing to try and fix something for Saki.

Saki sat down on a stool in front of the counter, and tiredly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, before smiling meekly. "I'm sure she wouldn't," She agreed, letting her feet dangle off the stool. "In fact, I'm sure she'd rather us eat than, like pass out of something." She added.
She wasn't sure why, but, she was already worn out, and there were still a few hours of work left before they could go home, mostly just because the boss wasn't back yet.

"Don't worry, I've got it."[/color] Ryosuke said with a smile before disappearing into the kitchen, his plan was to make a couple of sandwiches the humans called "hamburgers." and some fries to go with it, he wasn't as good of a cook as Saki but he had been watching her sometimes when she did it, and learned from her. Soon good smells began to waft out of the kitchen.

Saki had been about to get up and help when Ryosuke told her he'd get it. She smiled, nodding. She was usually the cook, pretty much being the team mom, but, it was interesting to watch someone else cook, since she was so used to cooking for them.
"Smells good," She said after a minute and Ryosuke had started cooking. And it was true, for food on Earth, most of which was good, it smelled really good.

Saki nodded, yawning a bit, and pulling her hair tie out, letting her long hair fall down around her shoulders. She ran a hand through her hair to untangle it, before unbuttoning her sweater and shrugging out of it, setting it on the counter beside her.
"Kay," She said, her voice muffled by another yawn. She hoped that work would be over quickly, so they could go home and Saki could take a nap.

The two minutes passed and Ryosuke brought out the food, setting the table especially for her, with utensils and something to drink as well. "Here it is...hope you enjoy it."[/color] He said, a smile on his face as he sat down across from her spot at the table, waiting for her to join him first.

Saki smiled, watching Ryosuke setting the table. If it wasn't for the fact that they were still technically working, and the fact that he was her best friend, she would have said it was like a date. And, well, she didn't want to ruin their friendship in anyway.
She slid off her seat, and went over to the table, pulling her sweater back on as she went. She sat down in the seat across from Ryosuke, and smiled again. "Looks great," She said, before taking a bite. She pretended to ponder the taste, before breaking out in a grin. "Amazing," She told him happily.

"Thank you, I learned from the best."[/color] Ryosuke replied honestly, directing this compliment to her. He ran an elegant but rugged hand through his hair, leaning back in the chair a little bit and stretching his arms to the side.
Something that his mother told him came to mind at this point, that it wasn't about the ingredients or the process of cooking done...but that it was about the love put into it. He donned a small smile at the realization that her reaction had fit in to what he had been told perfectly.
Straightening up in his chair, he took his sandwich in his hands, and began to eat briefly, his posture belying his formal upbringing, with manners and all.
